Like
the Barbera steeped in local Piemontese
tradition, so too is the Dolcetto.
Rubyred
in colour, it is a wine characterised by
fragances of both cherries and plums, light
nuances of almond, and at the very end the
most subtle of balsamic hints.
It
is warm on the palette, offering a delicate
flavour of tannins and a pleasant and persistant
aftertaste.
Just
right in body, this is undoubtedly an excellent
wine with no need for accompaniment. |
